Arriving January

The operating layer learns your trade.

From January, Skaffold installs an industry setup on top of the layer underneath. The screens, the jobs, the bookings, and the billing are shaped to the way your kind of business actually runs. Three setups first. More as the year goes on.

Nothing to buy today. A place on the list and an honest read of whether it fits.

Same layer. Shaped to the work.

Until now every Skaffold install was the same eight modules, configured by hand for your business. From January the platform underneath carries an industry edition, and we install it as part of the build. Less configuring. More of the day to day already in place.

The first three

Three setups. One operating layer underneath.

01 / Trades and field services

From the enquiry to the invoice, one job record.

The Field Setup runs the part of the business that starts after the customer books. Technicians scheduled by availability and location. Crews dispatched to the right jobs. Service requests, estimates, job progress, invoices, and payments on one record, with the tech updating it from the ute.

  • Online booking that lands straight on the schedule.
  • Technicians scheduled by who is free and who is closest.
  • Estimates, job progress, invoices, and payment on the one job.
  • A mobile view for the tech in the field, so the office is not the relay.
  • Connected to the inbox, the follow up, and the AI that books, so a finished job asks for its review on its own.

For electricians, plumbers, builders, pest control, and any trade that sends people to jobs.

02 / Coaches and consultants

What happens after the client says yes.

The Practice Setup runs delivery, not just intake. Programs sold from the site. Discovery calls booked without the back and forth. Sessions run in a native meeting room with the recording and an AI summary saved to the client. Courses, certificates, and a community in a member portal that carries your brand, not the platform's.

  • Programs and packages sold and paid for online.
  • Discovery calls booked straight onto the calendar.
  • Sessions recorded, transcribed, and summarised to the client record.
  • Courses, certificates, and a private community under your own brand.
  • Every client's progress visible on the web and in the mobile app.
  • Workshops and events, in person or online, with registration, reminders, and check in on your phone.

For coaches, advisors, strategists, and practitioners who deliver programs rather than one off sessions.

03 / Restaurants and venues

Reservations, tables, orders, and the regulars, in one place.

The Venue Setup is the first Skaffold lane built for hospitality. Reservations and an interactive floor plan. Digital menus and QR ordering from the table. Dine in, pickup, and delivery orders in one workspace. Underneath it, the same layer: the guest record, the review request after the visit, and the message that brings them back.

  • Reservations and a table plan you can draw.
  • Digital menus and ordering from a QR on the table.
  • Dine in, pickup, and delivery orders managed in one workspace.
  • Guest records, reviews, and return visit follow up underneath.
  • A loyalty program with points and gift cards, run from the same guest record.
  • Built with the studio side of the shop, where the hospitality work already lives.

For restaurants, cafes, and venues that want the operations and the marketing on one system.

Hospitality work on the studio showcase

Each setup changes the screens, the menu, and the feature set to what that industry needs, in your words rather than the software's. The eight modules stay underneath all three.

Arriving with them

Four things every setup gets in January.

01

Meeting rooms

Native video with screen share, recording, and a speaker labelled transcript saved to the contact. One less subscription, one more thing on the record.

02

Project and ticket tracking

Work tracked beside the customer record it belongs to. Spaces, lists, tasks, and support tickets by email, inside the same system.

03

Events

Workshops, seminars, and open days with registration, calendar reminders, and check in from a phone at the door. In person or online.

04

Loyalty and rewards

Points, gift cards, and a scan at the counter, attached to the customer record. The regulars get recognised by the system, not by whoever is on shift.

The prelaunch

How the first installs happen.

1

Register interest, now

Your name, your trade, and the one thing you want the system to take off your plate. No card, no commitment.

2

Run the diagnostic

Five minutes, four pillars. It tells us whether the setup is the leak, or whether the leak is somewhere a setup will not reach.

3

Clarity Call, December

Twenty minutes. We read your result, name the setup that fits, and tell you honestly if January is the wrong time.

4

Install, January

The operating layer first, the setup on top, done with you in sessions. The first job notification fires in week one, same as always.

Each install is done with you, not shipped as a login. That caps how many we start in January, so the list is in order of registration.

The honest part

When a setup is the wrong answer.

  • If the leak is follow up, you need the layer, not the setup. The eight modules fix that today.
  • If your trade is not on the first three, the layer still fits. The setup for it arrives when the platform ships it, and we will say when.
  • If nobody on your side can give twenty minutes a week in January, wait for February. The install does not survive being ignored.
  • If you want the software and not the build, this is not that. Every setup is installed with you, in the right order, measured from day one.

Straight answers

Before you put your name down.

Do I actually own what you build?

Yes, all of it. Your account, your number, your data, your audience, in your name from day one. We never build inside something you cannot take with you, because that hostage model is exactly what we are getting people out of. If you ever leave, you leave with everything.

Is this done for me, or do I have to build it myself?

Done with you, in sessions, not a PDF and good luck. You never touch DNS. Your only job is the decisions. We install the plumbing, you steer. That is the whole idea: you are not operating the tools, the tools are operating and you are running the business.

What does it cost?

It depends on what your business actually needs, and we name it on the Clarity Call once we have read your diagnostic. That conversation is a diagnosis, not a sales call. If Skaffold is not the right fit, or the timing is wrong, we will tell you straight rather than sell you something that will not hold.

The list

Put your name down.

The trade, and the one thing you want the system to take off your plate. We reply within one business day with whether it fits and where you sit on the list.

Run the diagnostic first

Skaffold will use these details to reply about the setups and may follow up once. Nothing is for sale today.

Registering puts you on the list. It does not put you on a plan.

The layer runs the business. From January, it knows which business.
